Smokey is a 16hh registered grey Quarter Horse gelding.
Smokey came to us in 2010 at 5 years of age from an auction. At the auction we were able to actually chat with his trainer (which doesn't happen often) - who we must say did an excellent job starting him. We even went to visit him in Wakefield Quebec just to see where Smokey got his start - and to understand his trainer's philosophy.
Smokey has excellent ground manners, is fabulous solo on trail, will do anything for you - including cattle work! The key to riding Smokey is to be nice to NJ as he is her project horse and a little unwilling to give him up to just anyone!
